Best Things to Do in Jarsing Pauwa
Jarsing Pauwa Viewpoint
Jarsing Pauwa viewpoint is the main attraction of this small village. From the viewpoint, you will be able to see lush green forests and cascading landscapes all around. We visited Jarsing Pauwa on a rainy day and stayed overnight, so the morning turned out to be beautiful with clear skies and mountain ranges in the distance that felt very near.
Tip: Hike to the viewpoint early in the morning, aiming to see the sunrise, and stay until the warm presence of the sun no longer bothers you. This is the most beautiful time to observe the mountains and the landscapes.
If you have enough time, having a picnic at the viewpoint while basking in the winter sun is also a great way to spend your day.

Buddhist Monastery
Within walking distance (about 20 minutes) from Jarsing Pauwa is a beautiful Buddhist Monastery. We reached the monastery in the late evening, and we were not allowed to stay in the monastery area for a long time. However, if you reach there a bit early, you should be able to enjoy the beautiful views of the landscapes and the monastery as well.

Where to Stay in Jarsing Pauwa?
Lalupate Resort: We stayed overnight at Lalupate resort. The resort was lovely. It cost us NPR 3000 per person for a one-night stay. The package offered us light snacks (with aloo chop, beaten rice, tea), a lovely Thali set for dinner, and breakfast (bread, jams, eggs, potatoes). Unlimited coffee and tea were also available during breakfast time.
In my experience, dinner was the best. We highly recommend having a BBQ if you are considering staying at this place as it was also one of the tastiest I’ve ever eaten.
Even though it is not possible to park your car within the premises of the resort, there is ample open space in front of the resort where you can park your vehicle.
