Are you looking for best restaurants to eat in Koblenz? You’ve come to the right place! As a local in Koblenz for the past three years, I have been to many restaurants in Koblenz and continue to do so. Here, I have compiled my 10 best restaurants to eat in Koblenz.

Koblenz has been my home for almost three years, and it has given me many things, my love for dining being one of them. I was never a fascinated restaurant-goer. I would mostly order takeaways, get fast food, or jump into some local eateries for a quick snack at most. Now, it is something I do regularly.

Best Restaurants to Eat in Koblenz

Thanks to my ‘awakening’ to restaurant dining, lazy evenings when I’m too tired to cook, and a few celebratory moments, I have been to many restaurants in Koblenz that offer good food and a great atmosphere. Below are the list of places that I can confidently suggest to you for a good dining experience.

M13 Burger | Cocktails | Café

Go for the burgers, stay for the cocktails. Quite frankly my favorite burger place in Koblenz. Tip: Don’t try to save money by ordering a Mini Burger, it is quite literally, MINI! ; )

The cocktails here are great as well. They have happy hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4 – 8 PM. The bar opens until 2 AM so you could also chill with friends till late night.

It is located right in the energetic Koblenz Altstadt. During Summer, you could sit outdoors and enjoy the food and drinks with a great atmosphere around you.

Drei Hefen

Just a few blocks away from M13 is this beautiful Italian restaurant that serves the original Neapolitan pizzas made in a traditional oven from Naples. They pride themselves on their use of high-quality and authentic ingredients. I am not good at describing food, but I absolutely loved the pizza here, and even more so, the relaxing surroundings.

They also offer a variety of local and international draft beers and wines. Beer tasting trays are also available.

Address: Münzstraße 3, 56068 Koblenz

Ichiban Sushi Bar

Affordable prices, a calm atmosphere, and delicious sushi, so don’t think they’re fooling you with the name; they’re rightfully No. 1.

There is a wide variety of sushi you can choose from. You can also enjoy Japanese beer to elevate the experience. My friend once described their Miso soup as “soul-warming,” and I wouldn’t take that away from them.

Address: Clemensstraße 26-30, 56068 Koblenz

An Nam Asia Fusion & Sushi

It is located only 10 minutes to the south of Deutsches Eck and along the banks of the Rhine River. The location is perfect, and if you want a relaxing seating outdoors or a calming ambiance indoors, you have both options.

During my visit, I ordered a noodle dish and a cocktail. Both were great. For just 13 Euros, they served quite a large portion of noodles, which I think is a great plus point.

Address: Rheinzollstraße 6, 56068 Koblenz

Altes Brauhaus

A local German jewel right in the heart of Koblenz Altstadt. The ambiance will immediately transport you to the promised past of medieval times, where people are laughing and chatting around while minding their own beers.

They also offer a wide range of food options, such as Pommes, Currywurst, Steaks, and more. I only ever come here for the beers and the experience.

Address: Braugasse 4, 56068 Koblenz

Cowboys Burger Saloon

This burger place brings the Wild West ambiance to the 21st century, both in the interiors and in the names of the dishes (I would happily order a Clint Eastwood burger if only I ate beef. ; ) ).

Located right in the city center, this burger saloon is a top spot to quickly jump in to enjoy one of the best burgers. The saloon atmosphere, combined with juicy burgers and refreshing drinks, provides a unique dining experience.

Tan Phat Sushi Koblenz

A really good restaurant that offers a unique Running Sushi experience. You pay 24.5 Euros for 14 plates of sushi and can take any dish served on the running conveyor belt in front of you.

You can also order selective foods and enjoy a regular dinner. I come here for Thai-style rice and chicken. The food is great.

Address: Altengraben 11, 56068 Koblenz

Adaccio

This place is as colorful as its external ambiance. Located in vibrant Jesuitenplatz, Adaccio offers a great Mediterranean dining experience.

It’s a kind of place that is always packed. I was there once with my friend and loved the food, especially the service from the staff. The place is very relaxing, and I really, really loved the pizza.

Address: Firmungstraße 2, 56068 Koblenz

Papa Umi

Papa Umi sounded to me like an Italian restaurant until I was there and searching for a pizza on the menu, no kidding! It’s Asian fusion.

Its aesthetically pleasing ambiance has a great energy to it, and the food matches every part of it. One good course costs around 10-15 Euros and is quite filling. I enjoyed the food and would love to visit again.

Gerhards Genussgesellschaft

Is that it – where’s fine dining? Well, I’ve got you covered.

This “Bib Gourmand” award-receiving restaurant, located on the opposite side of the Deutsches Eck, offers a fine culinary experience. The Bib Gourmand award is given by the Michelin Guide to restaurants that offer excellent menus at a good price-performance ratio..

Honestly, this was my first time visiting a fancy restaurant like this, and I would never have ended up there if it were not for my office’s dinner party. But I loved it, the food, the experience, everything.

The food looked aesthetically pleasing when it was served and tasted better than I had expected. There’s no messing around; every dish is so neatly made and nicely served. If you’re up for fine dining, this is an ideal choice.

Address: Esther-Bejarano-Straße 3 vormals, Danziger Freiheit 3, 56068 Koblenz

Bonus tip: The chili cheese pizza at DönerPoint Hähnchenhaus (Marktstraße 5, 56068 Koblenz) is my guilty pleasure, and if you try it out, you’ll know why! ; )

I will update this list every time I go to a new place and feel strongly about adding them here. If you have your list of best restaurants in Koblenz, please let me know in the comments.

  1. Wow, Koblenz has a great selection of places to eat. (I’m glad I just finished dinner so I didn’t drool all over my screen). I can never resist a good burger, so M13 would definitely be on my list! I always love to taste local specialties so I would also enjoy visiting Altes Brauhaus. Thanks for this look at the cuisine available in Koblenz.

  2. Oooh, there is lots of amazing food to be scoffed in Koblenz! It’s always good to get restaurant advice from someone who lives locally as you know the establishments really well. My favourites would be Altes Brauhaus, as we would like to enjoy local food and quaff some beers, and we would definitely like to try Gerhards Genussgesellschaft. Great food at a decent price sounds perfect!

  3. Not been to Koblenz (yet) but I am spoilt for food choices now. It seems to have a diverse scene with popular cuisine such as Italian and South East Asian. You can take me to Gerhards any time 🙂
